First and foremost, we dream of a society where every single person knows their value and believes in themselves. With that in mind, we created the program of talent development and opened a center for everyone who wants to explore, find their talent(s), learn, teach or work on them, but also make friends and become a part of our community.

Through that, we've been seeing a lot of positive impacts being made on children and young adults. They gained the ability to not only become better at acrobatics or dancing but also to function as a team and understand what it means to be a member of a team as well as a community. According to us, a society can only grow successfully with the proper knowledge and when stigmas and prejudice can slowly but surely be discarded. Therefore, topics especially dear to our hearts, amongst others, include Reproductive/sexual health education, environmental pollution/climate change, gender equality, consent, and the right and respectful handling of fellow human beings. We are constantly trying to implement these topics in our daily activities, but also providing special courses and initiating talks with all of our kids.

To live in a global economy, the demand for skills in the English language has been increasing over the past few years. Even though the English language is the main written and spoken language in secondary and tertiary education, the kids and youths face difficulties due to inadequate support in primary education. Around 70 percent of children in Tanzania between the ages of 14 to 17 years are not enrolled anymore. Therefore it is even more important to provide additional opportunities to improve their skills and get more secure in using the language. Thus, we provide our English classes, especially for our youths, multiple times a week.

Since our goal is to help young children with unfortunate backgrounds and create new possibilities for them, we recently started our sponsorship program. Since attending a governmental school is nearly impossible due to failing a year or just not having the supportive background of the family, it is a particular issue for us to find the best solutions. By trying to find sponsorships and the most suitable school for the kids, they benefit from regular care and are supported on their educational path. As a result, these children have a more promising life in front of them and are therefore able to build the next generation to support a stronger society.

While working with mostly children and youths, we become aware of certain obstacles. We don't only value the individual's talents but primarily their well-being and overall development. As far as possible, we try to get an overall idea of every child’s/youth’s home life and, if justifiable, visit their homes in person to get a clearer picture of their situation. Still a lot of families suffer from poverty – this is where we are trying to help with fundraising and supplying donations for the families' daily life like food and water. Furthermore, if necessary, we offer assistance and support for parents in their role as caregivers.

There is a myriad of challenges facing children with an unstable background. With our aim to provide a safe environment where our kids and youths can grow and develop themselves, which cannot always be preserved by their own families, it sometimes becomes necessary to provide a shelter or even a new and stable home for them. Together, if possible, with parents, we discuss and plan which measures are appropriate to stabilize difficult situations. Therefore, we recently started renting rooms and providing them to the ones in need. Living together in a shared space, they can profit from each other, experience the rules and ways of living together, as well as learning how to negotiate their own needs with others.
